Smoke Free Airlines is a website that can help you find and locate the
airlines that provide domestic and international air service for the US
public. The FAA, Congress and the airlines have banned smoking on all their
US flights.
The airline page links will offer contact information and a link to
their websites. We also provide some useful information regarding
each airlines baggage and luggage regulations.
Smoking on airplanes has been proven to be a health hazard for those of
us that do not smoke. There is no way a person can sit in a
container with second hand smoke and not be affected. This goes
for adults, children and even babies. Since smoking kills
even by second hand smoke, you should try to avoid enclosed spaces that
does not allow the smoke to ventilate.
The fact that smoking is still legal amazes some folks. If we did
not have the big tobacco companies and their big wallets dolling out
money to our legislatures and politicians, do you really think smoking
would still be legal? I don't.
Let's just presume that we did not have cigarettes and somebody went to
the FDA and asked for a ruling on cigarettes and tobacco. Well,
it does kill you, it does cause birth defects, it can kill the people
that do not use it, but, are just being around it. After this
presentation, do you really think any sane person, even the FDA would
approve such a business plan? NO.
Luckily for most of us that fly a lot, smoking has been banned from
airplanes and most airports. I do remember a couple of airports
that I have been through that still have smoking in contained smoking
lounges away from the rest of the population. This I can live
with.

I am a non-smoker today. I did smoke for many years and quit
around 18 years ago. Why? It was a hassle and it was the
right time for me to quit. I have never regretted quitting and I
am amazed that people today talk about them wanting to quit, but,
cannot. That is really a shame. What a nasty habit and it is
